C16 timber-framed and plastered with red plain tile roof hipped at one end.
2 storeys 4 window range double hung sashes. Painted brick front at west end.
Originally 2 structures, jettied to street frontage, most of the original frame
remains and there are some finely moulded bridging joists. Late C19 shop front
and bay window, and modern shop front. 3 gabled wings at rear C17. Early C19
extension with grey slate roof. (RCHM 7 and 8).
