House. C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Single-span range facing W, with central stack and an internal stack at each end. Service range to rear of left end. Early C19 single-storey extension with low-pitched hipped roof of slate to left of main range. C19 single-storey extensions to rear. 2 storeys and attics. 7-window range of C20 sashes of 12 lights, in original apertures with flat arches of gauged brick. Attic, 4 C19 casements in gabled dormers. Off-centre half-glazed door in C20 shell hood porch. Modillioned stone or plaster cornice above first-floor windows. Parapet with 7 blank recesses, dipped in front of each dormer. Mansard roof. One original sash of 8 lights in left return, on first floor, with crown glass. Brick wall to right extends 33 metres along road, height approx. 2 metres, with plain coping. Doorway with 2-centred Gothick arch 1.50 metres from S end, which returns in a short-radius curve to meet the NW corner of D'Arcy Cottage (item 7/84).
