Mediaeval stone arch with dripstone over of mid C13, forming entrance doorway.
With No 5 probably one house originally. C16 or earlier timber framed building
with plaster infilling, the ground floor underbuilt and refaced with painted
brick. Curved braces flanking the 1st floor.

Nos 1 to 5 (odd) with No 1 (Water Lane House) Bowling Cottage and Nos 3 to 7 (odd)
Bowling Street form a group.
