Public house. Mid-late C18. Squared sandstone; stone-flagged and stone-tiled
roofs; stone chimney stacks. L-plan: main block with wing attached to rear of
right return.
2-storey, 3-bay main block has raised-and-chamfered quoins. C20 stone window
bay across central and right bay; replaced 2-pane sash in moulded surround to
left; identical sashes above in projecting surrounds. Steeply-pitched flagged
roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks with top bands and
water tables. C19 canted bay window to right return. Entry via 2-storey porch
attached to rear of right return.
Long and low, 2-storey rear wing has 2 replaced sashes and a low-pitched, stone-
tiled roof with coped right gable. Right end and tall ridge stacks.
Brick additions to rear wing are not of special interest.
