GV II

House. Mid C18 with late C19 alterations. Roughly-dressed coursed squared
sandstone with quoins and ashlar dressings. Roof graduated stone flags with
stone ridge and gable copings, and rendered rubble and painted brick chimneys.
2 storeys, 3 wide bays. Central 6-panel door and plain overlight under flat
stone lintel; C19 lattice wood porch with segmental head and pyramid finial.
Flanking C19 canted bay windows with bracketed cornices and plain sashes; late
C19 sashes on first floor, with flat stone lintels and sills. Roof has 3
ridge chimneys, at left and at right of second bay rendered rubble with top
string, and at right end rendered in brick; gable copings on moulded kneelers.
Much of elevation obscured by ivy at time of survey.
