Barn and loosebox. Mid C18. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins and boulder
plinth. Barn roof stone-flagged with stone ridge; later roofs pantiled. Main
building 2 storeys, 3 bays, left extension 2 lower storeys, 2 bays, and
1-storey, 2-bay projecting left wing. Barn has thin wood lintels over central
Dutch door and over partly-blocked loft door above, which has 6-pane light
inserted. Rough stone lintel over boarded door at right of extension; thin
stone lintel over boarded Dutch door in front gable of loose-box wing.
Single Dutch door in inner return of wing in second bay. 2 vent slits to
first floor of barn extension. Rear elevation shows side stone steps to.
central boarded Dutch door in first floor of barn. Interior shows massive
principals, with swept feet, pegged and halved at apex, in loose box; interior
of barn not inspected.
