Bridge. Probably C18 with C19 parapets. Sandstone rubble with ashlar
dressings. High segmental arch with roughly-dressed voussoirs, and boulders
forming base of arch. Larger rubble in shape of packhorse bridge to former
road-bed level; road probably raised and widened in C19 for access to pencil
mill to north, when parapets - with throughstones and round coping - were
raised.
