Gate piers. Circa 1840, probably by I. Bonomi, for R.J. Eden of Windlestone
Hall, as entrance to Mausoleum. Resited 1972 as gift from Eden family.
Sandstone ashlar. 2 square-plan piers, c.3.5 metres high. Each has chamfered
plinth below channelled rustication, with impost string to central round-
headed open arch, under triglyph frieze and modillioned cornice. Swept coping
with ball finial. Scroll-topped inner pilaster jambs.
