Nos. 17 and 19 (formerly listed as Pair of houses adjacent to No. 128 on south)

Pair of cottages in terrace probably originally one house. C17 origin. Rubble
stone walls. Stone slate roof. Stone stack at left end, one brick stack right
of door to No. 19 and one immediately over this door. One storey and attics.
No. 17 has ledged door. Ground floor has one casement with glazing bars and
one horizontally sliding sash with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has 2 gabled
dormers, one with casements, one with horizontally sliding sashes, both with
glazing bars. No. 19 has stable door. Ground floor has one casement with
glazing bars. Attic has one gabled dormer with casements with centre horizontal
bar. Rear wing in matching construction has stone recording restoration in 1957.
Interior of No. 19 not accessible but according to RCHM it contains a C17 fireplace.
