II
House, early C19, of rendered brick and of 2 storeys with attics. Square plan
form, with slate hipped roof of central well form and with wide overhanging
eaves. Main S elevation has 3 double hung sashes with segmental heads and small
panes on first floor. Ground floor has 2 similar windows with central
projecting flat topped Doric columned porch, with original 6 panel door and
margin glazing barred fanlight. Ground floor is raised on this side over part
submerged basement with flight of steps up to porch. E elevation has similar
windows and 2 segmental headed dormers with sash windows and a substantial brick
stack.
