2 houses and outbuildings. C17 or early Cl8 and later. Roughcast stone with
slate roofs. 2 storeys, 5 bays, the 4th and 5th bays lower. Ground floor has
dripcourses. Windows have casements; 3rd bay has fire window with small-paned
fixed glazing. Gabled porch to 2nd bay has glazed inner door. 5th bay has
entrance with recessed half-glazed door. 1st 3 bays form Wayside Cottage, which
has spice cupboard with door and plank and muntin partitions. Gable-end
stacks. Building to right is stone rubble with Welsh slate roof. Large
inserted entrance with slated lintel and smaller entrance to left; to right an
entrance with square opening above. Small end building is plastered to front
with stone gable end, old roof slates. Window and small opening; gable-end
pitching hole.
