C17 house encased and extended at later dates. Halls of grey gault brick,
with a 5 window range, of 2-storeys. On the front 3 first floor windows are
gabled dormers; all windows modern. Roof hipped and peg-tiled, with a large
rear flanking chimney stack. Plan complex, 2 parallel ranges roughly north
to south with one wing extending rearwards (east) from the north end. Inside
a timber frame, 5 bays long overmantle of circa 1660, a brick floor. Some
oak panelling from Cl7.
