Row of 3 houses, end houses now subdivided. Mid-late C18 with mainly C19
fenestration. Pebble-dashed rubble. Pantiled roofs, renewed except for Nos.
8 and 9; rebuilt brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. Each house 2 bays: house
at left Nos. 5 and 6; No. 7 in centre; house at right Nos. 8 and 9. No. 7
has central 6-panel door and overlight. Replaced doors elsewhere: Nos. 5 and
6 with margined overlights; Nos. 8 and 9 with mid C20 central pair of doorways.
Arched boot-scraper recesses on centre and at right. Window openings have
flush stone lintels and projecting sills except for house at left which has
renewed concrete lintels and sills. Mainly 16-pane sashes, some replaced.
No. 8 has late C20 casements. Continuous steeply-pitched roof with transverse
ridge stacks above junction of each house. Late C20 rear additions are not
of interest. Nos. 8 and 9 included for group value. Nos. 1 to 12 (consecutive)
form a continuous row.
