c1920. Pair of cottages built by Sir Ernest Debenham - designers probably Hulsey
Ricardo and MacDonald Gill. Concrete block walls, colourwashed, thatched roof,
brick stacks with ornamental detail. Part two-storey, part one storey and attics.
Each cottage has lean-to extension at front, with thatch roof carried over this.
Extensions contained recessed porches - that of No. 16 has been infilled. Ledged
doors. Ground floors each have three casement windows with glazing bars. First
floors each have one similar window. Also one dormer in roof of each lean-to.
