Pair of semi-detached cottages. Early C18, altered in early C19. Brick walls,
stone slate roofs, one brick stack at left end of No. 5, one at junction of the
cottages. 2 storeys. No. 5 has ledged door. Ground floor has 2 casements with
glazing bars, one under segmental arch. First floor has 2 casements, one with
glazing bars, one with lead lights. Single-storey extension on left has brick
walls on rubble stone base and stone slate roof. One window with glazing bars.
No. 7 has, on ground floor, a large horizontally sliding sash with glazing bars
under segmental arch. First floor has 2 horizontally sliding sashes with glazing bars.
Right gable end wall has chevron patterning in burnt headers. Single-storey extension
at right end, with ½-hipped tiled roof. This has ledged door and one casement with
