Lodge cottage, mid-C19, extended in C20. Walls of-red brick and flint,
roof thatched. Originally of T-plan, with central entrance and chimney stack
of 2 flues at middle of building. Flat-roofed extensions, C20, in both
angles. Single storey. Original porch with one casement window to each side.
Roof hipped. Moulded chimney shafts with diaper banding. Built between
1847 (tithe map) and 1874 (first edition, 6" O.S. map).
