Former Rectory, now private house. 1837. By W.Kendal. Dressed stone walls
with ashlar quoins. Stone string-course over ground floor, and cornice over
first floor. Hipped slate roof. Brick stacks behind ridge. Double-depth
house. Two storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing-bars having eaved stone
architraves and cills. Recess-panel aprons under the first floor windows.
Front doorway at centre with stone architrave. Panelled door, glazed in
the top half, C19. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 189(3)).
