Detached Farmhouse. Mid C19. Rubble-stone walls. Clay tile roofs with
gable-ends and stone gable-copings. Stone stack at right hand gable, stack
taken down at left hand gable. 1 1/2 storeys. 6 openings to ground floor,
window-door-window-window-door-window. 3-light (mainly) and a single
one-light hollow-chamfered stone mullions, labels over. Cast-iron casements
with lozenge-pattern of glazing-bars. Gabled 2-storey porch, left of centre;
gabled dormer at right hand end, both have a 2-light mullion window under the
gable. Doorways, porch doorway has a depressed arch in a square head with
recess spandrels, plank-and-muntin door with strap hinges, C19. Doorway,
right of centre of same design with same door. Long rear range with former
stabling and outbuilding is of special interest. Three 3-light cast-iron
casements with lozenge cast-iron glazing-bars. Two-leaf plank doors.
