Farmhouse, C16 and later alterations. Mainly L-Plan. Dressed stone
walls. Thatch roof, gabled at left hand and right hand. Stone gable-
coping at right hand. C20 brick stacks at each gable. 2 storeys, eaves
raised over most of the centre windows. 3 windows and porch (right of
centre), 3- and 4-light stone mullions (hollow chamfers). Separate
returned labels over, iron casements with lead lights and metal
casements. Large slower buttress between bays one and two. Stone
porch, c.1700, square plan, eared architrave to entrance. Straight
dripstone over. Rectangular light over with lozenge lead lights.
Stone gable coping with finial over. Interior: Stone fireplace in
north wall, with moulded jambs and depressed-arch head, c.Cl6. Plain
spandrels. Arms of France (field of Fleur-de-lis) cut into the stone
lintel. Open fireplace in opposite end with chamfered jambs and reset
lintel over.
