SY 58 NE LONG BREDY GORWELL

Detached Farmhouse. Mid C19, with re-used C17 material. Rubble-stone walls with
dressed stone quoins. C19 slate roof with boxed eaves and gable-ends. Shallow
pitch. Projecting stack and rendered chimney on south gable-end, and at north
gable. Rendered stack on east front gable. 2 storeys. 4 windows and one window
on return wing at north end. Sashes with stone cills and concreted architraves.
Front gable at north end has a blocked 2-light stone mullion window with hollow
chamfers and a returned label over. 2-light and 3-light stone mullions with lead
lights on north wall. Rear walls have 2- and 3-light cast-iron casements with
segmental brick arches over. 2-storey porch on front elevation has a doorway with
moulded jambs and head. Straight-chamfered stops have carved vases. Inner door
with same jambs and head, both C17.
