Public house. C17, C18. Witchert on a rubblestone plinth, rendered
and colourwashed, with masonry scribing. Thatched roof, hipped to left
with tiled roof outshot to front. 3 bays and 1 1/2 storeys. Board doors,
one at right in centre bay and one in angle with left hand lean-to.
3-light and 2-light casements. 3-light eaves dormers to right hand
bays, 3-light eaves breaking left hand upper floor window. Flanking
stacks. Set back at left single storey addition in colourwashed brick
with low tiled pitch, c1980. Interior: Inglenook fireplaces and chamfered
and stopped spine beams.
