House. C17, altered. Rubblestone with C18 brick extensions at rear.
Old tile roofs, hipped at right. 3 bays and 1½ storeys with cellars.
South front has central 4 panel door with 3 pane fanlight above set in
high quality Doric doorcase of fluted pilasters and entablature with
triglyph frieze. Cellar windows. Ground floor has 3-light casements under
segmental brick arches, brick jambs. Three 2-light gabled dormers. Left
hand gable stack. Right or east elevation similar of 3 bays with north
gable stack and stack between left bays. Interior. has some reused
C17 panelling, enriched dado-rails and doors, all said to have come from
old Eythrope House. Chamfered and stopped spine beams and
inglenook fireplace.
