Farmhouse. Mid C16. Timber frame, part brick infill, part wattle and daub, part
weather-boarded. Old tile, half-hipped roof. Rectangular plan of 4 framed bays.
2 storeys. One C19 chimney on north roof slope, with offset head and clay pot.
Casement windows, irregular fenestration. Moulded barge boards. Interior:- timber
frame nearly complete and mostly exposed. Queen post roof trusses with large
principal rafters, clasped purlins, arched braces and wind braces. Large principal
beams on ground floor are chamfered with diamond stops. The farmhouse was semi-
derelict when inspected.
