Large house, now offices. c1840. Brick with low pitched gabled slate
roof. 2 storeys, attics and basement. Large flanking chimneys flush with
gable wall. 3 bay symmetrical front with sash windows ; tripartite on
ground floor. 4 panel central door, plain rectangular fanlight and side
lights in wide painted Doric surround of pilasters, frieze, cornice and
blocking course approached by 10 moulded stone steps; 2 iron scrapers.
Cast iron railings of acanthus pattern across front on low wall between
short flanking brick walls and piers with stone capping; and returning each
side of steps to entrance door.
