House. C16 and C17. Timber frame with brick infill and brick plinth.
Old tile roof, rebuilt brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 4 bays to S. side.
2 bays to left are C16 with heavy timbers, some close-studding and
first floor jettied on beam ends. Chimney to right of centre. Left bay
has C20 3-light barred wooden casements and traces of blocked original
window to ground floor. Similar blocked window with central mullion to first
floor of adjacent bay. This bay also has ground floor rebuilt in brick
with C20 door, and single light to first floor. 2 bays to right are
probably C17, that to left gabled. Similar C20 3-light casements to
left bay and upper right. Chimney to rear of left bay. Right side is
double gabled with irregular C20 casements and rendered ground floor.
C20 extension to N. and in rear angle. Ground floor room in gabled bay
has stop-chamfered spine beam and joists.
