The Carpenters' Arms

Former maltings, now used as store. Early-mid C19. Pale brick, part
once whitewashed. W. side has off-set eaves, remainder has dentil
eaves, off-set plinth and plain pilasters. Tiled roof. L-plan,
2 storeys. W. front of 2 bays has gabled bay to right with board doors
and round window in gable, the left bay with small C20 casement. Rear
wing has irregular boarded openings with cambered heads to ground
floor, and round windows above. N.W. bay contains kiln. Included for
group value.
