17/16 Thomson tomb in the churchyard of
Church of St. Mary, about 8 metres
south of the west end of nave

Chest tomb. Late C17. Stone. Plinth, moulded stone base, moulded side panels with
inscription on south face which reads 'William Thomson d.1688, late of ye Parish of
St. Andrew Holbourne in Middlesex and High Constable of Hundred of Ossleston in the
said County. Twenty six years together d. August 24th 1688, in ye 64 year of his age'.
Carved panel on the east end with visor and unicorn over.
