Farmhouse now house. Early or mid C17, altered mid C18, extended mid C19. Painted
brick; old tile steeply-pitched hipped roof. Rectangular plan with lower extension on
north. 2 storeys and attics. 2 chimneys with clay pots. Projecting plinth, plat band
at first floor; boxed eaves. Sash windows with glazing bars and boxed frames in earlier
part, casement windows with glazing bars in extension. Entrance (south) front:
symmetrical. 2 bays. Flat roof dormer with 2-light casement window, entrance door of 6
fielded panels; fanlight with 'gothic' tracery. Porch with shallow, slate, hipped roof
on wooden columns. Later bay window on right with moulded cornice and 2 sash windows
with glazing bars in the upper sash. Interior: C17 newel staircase on all floors to
attics. Some beams visible with chamfers and shield stops.
