Cottage. Early C17 with late C18 extensions. Timber frame with painted brick
infilling, old tile roof gabled at ends. T-plan with single storey range of
late C18 outbuildings at right angles to road front on left with thin framing,
part slate and part tile roof. 2 storeys. Road front:2 timber framed bays,
left hand with 2 arch braces, one 3-light C20 casement, and insurance plaque
on first floor, one 2-light C19 wood casement with small panes ground floor,
chimney to left on east gable, C19 entrance door in lean-to porch in corner
where extension joins. Right hand bay has large painted brick chimney tapered
at first floor level symmetrically into one flue.Interior has complete timber
frame visible, the joists in the principal rooms chamfered with stop ends.
