15/19 Burgess Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Flemish bond brick facing
with some grey headers, decorative fish scale tile hanging to gables and
tiled roof. Long rectangular plan, Lobby entry, One and a half storeys,
large grouped ridge stack off centre to west. North Elevation: 3 large
tile hung cross gables, roughly symmetrically spaced each with 3-light
casement in moulded timber surround with tiled apron carried across feet
at eaves. Three 3-light casements below these on ground floor, entrance
door in simple C20 gabled porch between centre and right windows under
chimney, small slight casement to far right.
