House. Early C17, altered C18, altered and extended c1850.and C20. Brick,
brick with vitreous headers on east and west fronts; hipped old tile
roof. Double ridge plan with late C18 extension on south west which may
have been a small barn. 2 storeys, cellar and attic. Dentilled and
moulded brick eaves. 3 chimneys with offset heads 2 on north east roof
slope. Sash windows with glazing bars.' South east front:- 3 bays with
glazed central door in doorcase of Doric pilasters, fluted necking, entablature
and pediment. Irregular bays on ground floor either side of door with hipped
tiled roofs. North east front:- 3 bays. Central ground floor window has
a double scroll shaped head and painted glass. Interior:- large fire-place in
kitchen with bread oven on the right, spice alcove on left. Queen post trusses,
purlins and some rafters of old timbers.
