1859. One and a half storey symmetrical composition in free Gothic style.
Built of pennant stone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Slate
roof with projecting eaves. Five gables, the outer ones to full-height
bricks, the 3 central ones over 1st floor windows, centre one slightly
taller. Two and 5-light casement windows with shouldered lintel and dripmoulds
below relieving arches. Verandah across ground floor to shelter doorways.
Windows have carved scrolls with texts over them, shield and scrolls above
centre. Central 1st floor window head inscribed with punning motto "Frere
Ayme Frere". Mottos also on lintels of doorways.
