C16 or earlier timber-framed and close-studded building on a stone base with
plaster infilling colour-washed yellow, the first floor oversailing on a moulded
bressumer and brackets. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Two bays on ground
floor containing casement windows of 2 tiers of 6-lights with wooden mullions
and transoms, each flanked by small narrow windows at the level of the upper
tier. Two similar oriel windows above, projecting on brackets and similarly
flanked, and one other window in the centre.
