7/167 Wheatsheaf Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C15. Timber-framed, clad in brick, painted
except at right end. Left gable end tile-hung on first floor.
Plain tile roof. 2-bay open hall with one storeyed bay at either
end. 2 storeys, on plinth. Roof hipped at both ends. Brick
ridge stack off-centre to left. Irregular fenestration of four 2-
and 3-light casements. Panelled door with 2 top lights under
open timber porch beneath stack. Interior: moulded central
crown-post and moulded central truss post. Plain exposed
beams and posts. Arch-braces to wall-plates. Integral rear lean-to.
