Mid C18 or earlier origin, a former farmhouse. Two-storeys, gritstone with odd blocks of ironstone, dressed quoins. Stone slate roof, gable ends with shaped cut kneelers and strongly splayed capping carved up as saddlestone. No 3 has modern windows and doorway but No 5 retains circa 1800 tripartite square mullioned windows.
