Mid C19 cast iron post. Square with chamfered corners and 2 projecting, moulded
cornices with shield in space between. Chamfered top. Inscription "24 and 25
VICT CAP 42". Plinth with moulded coping. This post marks a point for the
collection of tax on coal entering London.
