Almshouses. late C17, altered. Red brick with flared headers. Old tile
roofs. Garden walls mainly brick with some stone. 2 storeys 2 parallel
blocks running north and south surrounded by low brick walls and with
gateway and piers into churchyard on south side. On inner front of each
block are 6 bays of leaded casement windows, 2-light upper, 3-light ground
floor and 6 modern part glazed doors flanked by modern. 2-light casements.
Doors, one at each end and 2 groups of 2 between 2nd and 3rd bays from each
end. Rear elevations rendered ground floor and 6 small single light upper
floor windows. Moulded coped gable ends, 1st floor string and 3 large stacks
to each block. Garden walls to east stonefaced, west and south, link to north
fronts of Almshouses and link between ranges. At south are square brick piers
with stone caps and ball finials on ogee plinthes either side of gateway.
