Aqueduct over River Weaver at SJ 664 589

II

Aqueduct. 1827-33. Telford design. Brick, with stone bands and
copings. Large, circular arch flanked by single smaller flood
relief arches. Roll-moulded stone bands running through central
arch vault at springing level. Arches are flanked by single
piers with plain, round-headed brick niches. Curving wing walls
terminate in newels.
