Former farmhouse now house. Mid C17 with early C18 additions and
alterations. Red Flemish and English garden wall bond brick work with
stone dressings and stone slate and slate roof. 2 storeys with attic.
Entrance front: Flemish bond brick, 3 bays symmetrical. Central
doorway with chamfered stone surround. C20 glazed door. 2-light
mullioned casement windows to either side with chamfered stone
surrounds. Brick band between storeys. Two 2-light mullioned windows
to right and left of first floor with stone band above. Windowless
attic above this. C19 lean-to to left with C20 lean-to to right.
Stone kneelers and coping to gable ends.
Interior: Chambered end-stopped beams to all ground floor rooms. One
ground floor door with scribed moulding to panelling. Other doors are
C20 replacements. Close-studding to stairwell. Original deep
handrail to staircase with panelled newels.
