House, C17 in origin, altered and enlarged C18. Of coursed squared stone with Collyweston stone slate roofs, ridge and lateral stacks. L-plan. Two storeys, basement and attic. C17 mullioned windows to basement, and long two-light mullioned staircase window to west (perhaps C19 imitation). North (street) front two window range, twelve-pane sash windows. To left, arched entrance way with hood over, with lions' heads in the spandrels. South (garden) front three window range, with C19 sash windows, tripartite, to ground floor. Central doorway in roll-moulded architrave reached by flight of steps. Similar doorway to east. C17 carved wooden overmantel, now on staircase.
