House, now public house. Possibly C15 with early C19 and some late C20
alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick infill and concrete tile roof,
ridge stack. Two storeys, four windows: 3-light casement to left, single-light,
3-lights and a 2-light casement to right; ground floor: lean-to C19 extension
to right-hand side with concrete tile roof and a 2-light casement; four windows
to rest of front, to left a pilastered window with moulded cornice and two
panes, then a 2-light casement, and to right a pair of 2-light casements;
passage to left-hand corner has entrance with wooden doorcase, scroll brackets
to flat canopy and ledged and boarded door. Framing: restored, but apparently
originally two rectangular panels high.
