ST 66 NW COMPTON DANDO QUEEN CHARLTON

2/66 Diamond's Cottage

G.V. II

Cottage. C17, remodelled early - mid C19. Rubble with double Roman tiled
roof; brick end stacks. 2 storeys. 2 windows: 3-light C19 and C20
casements on ground floor, under ovolo moulded lintels and dripmoulds; lattice
glazed casements on first floor. Door to right under a segmental head forms
a lobby entry on the gable end. Interior: chamfered beams with step and run-
out stops; blocked fireplace with chamfered lintel and winder stair to left.
