House. Dated "J F (John Fisher) 1670" on frieze of porch. Coursed rubble with
freestone dressings; slate roof with coped raised verges; large central ashlar
stack, formerly with diagonal chimneys. 2 storeys and attics in 3 steep coped
gables. 3 bays and porch. Glazing bar sash windows in plain stone surrounds;
blocked on right side; keyed oval windows in apex of gables. Continuous string
course over ground and first floor. Projecting gabled 2 storey porch with eared
architrave surround to outer doorcase, inscription on frieze. Inner plank
studded door, ovolo moulded surround with depressed 4-centred arch lintel.
Rubble boundary wall to road; with mid C19th Gothic doorcase; stone slate hood
with false machicolation; Perpendicular style door with cusped heads.
