Dated 1847. Tudor style, ie mullion and transom windows with drips over.
Two storeys asymmetrical. Limestone rubble in uneven courses. Slate roofs,
coped verges with saddlestones. Ashlar chimneys, mostly with chamfered corners
and moulded capping. Entrance front to south: 3 bays, 2 gables - the left
hand one set back with saddlestone. Right hand gable and bay to right of it
have slightly jettied 1st floor on stone brackets; arched doorway in centre
with studded door. Datestone over. Garden front to west, 3 bays each slightly
set back; 2 gables, centre and left, left hand one with 2 storey square bay
and 2 light attic window above, the right hand one with angled bay. North-east
front 2½ storeys, 2 gables, one to attic and one to triple chimney.
Interior: front room to left has marble fireplace with Tudor Gothic arch and
shields (see No 83 (Vicarage), North Road).
