ST 69 SE FALFIELD HENEAGE LANE

Manor House. C17; altered early C18 and restored with additions c.1913 by E.P. Warren.
Rendered; Cotswold stone slate roofs; diagonal brick stacks. 2 storeys and attics. To
the right is a slightly projecting 5 bay section: 2-light cross windows and 4-light
casement windows with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds; large gable off-centre to
the right and 2 hipped dormers to the left of it; gabled projecting porch with a panel-
led door in a moulded surround and under a pediment. To the left is a 3 bay section
with 2 stone gables: 2-, 3- and 4-light casement windows. Projecting from the left is
a single storey wing with attics in 3 hipped dormers; 3-light casement windows on
ground floor. Interior: C18 style panelling and bolection moulded fireplaces. (1913);
extended collar beam roof trusses.
