ST 69 SE CROMHALL CHURCH LANE (north side)

G.V. II

Village School.Dated 1844.Rubble with freestone dressings; double Roman tiled
roof; ashlar stocks with moulded cornice. In a Tudor Gothic style. Single
storey. 4 bays: 2-light casements with chamfered mullions and depressed
4-centred heads under dripstones. Plank door to right, in a chamfered surround
with a 4-centred head. Buttresses on the front elevation, terminating in eaves
stacks, bear brass plaques with incised Gothic lettering by Willet of Bristol.
Single storey extension to left.
