Small country house. Later C18 with C19 additions. Red brick. Stone coped
slate roof. Double-pile plan with 2-span roof, with later parallel block to
rear W. 2 storeys and attics. Front elevaton: symmetrical, 5 window facade
of 2 storeys. All windows sashes with glazing bars under flat arches.
Central doorway has entablature with paterae and modillion cornice, supported
by Tuscan half columns. Door itself is part glazed and surmounted by semi-
circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. Parapet has brick dentil
cornice. Side elevations: 3 windows deep, fenestration similar to front. E
elevaton has dummy windows to centre and 2 attic windows. C19 rear block
similar in appearance but with some casement windows.
