of red brick but given formality and interest by the use of a giant order
of Luton grey brick pilaster strips. Effectively the wall plane of each bay
is recessed under a depressed rubbed brick arch and spanning to the pilasters.
Moulded and cut-in red brick eaves cornice. Gable end slate roof with flanking
corniced brick chimney stacks. Revealed sash windows with flat gauged rubbed
brick arches, stucco cills, central window above doorway passover. Panelled
door with rectangular fanlight in panelled reveals framed by stucco doorcase
of panelled pilaster strips with decorated consoles supporting moulded cornice
and blocking course.
