Late C18. 2 storeys of white brick. Deep panelled wooden eaves, supported by
narrow shaped modillions set in pairs, below flat slate roof. Door of 6 panels
(4 fielded) and fanlight with interlacing glazing bars, in a plain wooden doorcase
with panelled reveals and soffit. 3 sash windows in plain reveals. Owing to
the slope of the hill, the first floor is level with the garden behind and has
been given a pavilion-like treatment, which adds interest to the back aspect.
Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 11 to 15 (odd) and Nos 21 to 37 (odd) form a group.Also
Nos 21 to 37 (odd) form a group with No 1 Chapel Lane.
