Original house 1749 (dated rainwater heads) extended and altered 1912 by Clyde
Young in neo-Georgian style; further alterations and conversion 1951. Red
brick including some vitrified headers, stone quoins. Old clay tile hipped
roof. H-plan with half bay extension to south-east, two bay to north-west;
rear mainly rebuilt and extended 1912. Original front elevation three bays,
central slightly recessed. Two storeys and attics. Central pediment,
bracketed eaves. Box dormers. Two sashes with glazing bars to each floor of
each bay, in flush moulded frames under flat arches. Storey band. Central
bay altered.
